A Message from Sydney
Originally from North Platte, Nebraska, Sydney has practiced medicine for over 25 years. She is married and has four children. She enjoys reading, gardening, and creating fiber art, such as sewing and quilting. Sydney is an ally for the LGBTQIA community and provides a safe space for all her patients. After completing her master’s in nursing in Vermont, she earned her PhD in nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Sydney’s personal mission at Charles Drew Health Center:
“I want all my patients to feel respected, heard, and feel they are an equal partner in their health journey. I truly believe that every ‘win’ has ripple effects, so when a patient achieves a health goal it’s not just that patient that wins but all those around that patient also.”
