A Message from Skylar

Originally from Randolph, Iowa, Skylar Long joined the CDHC Behavioral Health team in 2023. Skylar’s personal mission at Charles Drew Health Center:

To empower individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse by providing compassionate, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. My mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore and address the root causes of their addiction, develop coping strategies, and build the skills necessary for sustained sobriety. Using shared experiences, personalized treatment plans, education, and ongoing support, I strive to inspire positive change and promote holistic well-being in the lives of those affected by drug and alcohol use disorders.
