A Message from Dr. Hallgren

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. John Hallgren brings decades of experience and a deep commitment to compassionate, accessible care to Charles Drew Health Center. Board-certified in Family Medicine, he finds practicing medicine both rewarding and humbling, valuing the daily challenge of diagnosing, treating, and improving his patients’ health over time.

Dr. Hallgren is especially passionate about providing cost-effective healthcare for patients without insurance and performing in-office procedures that expand access to essential care. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, hiking, and golfing.
