A Message from Elvia

After immigrating from Mexico, Elvia spent her adolescence in rural Nebraska, attending High School in Schuyler, Nebraska, about 75 miles northwest of Omaha. In her spare time, Elvia enjoys sewing and crocheting. She is also a backyard beekeeper, and the process allows her to slow down and appreciate the power of community and purpose, both in nature and in life.

Elvia’s personal mission at Charles Drew Health Center: “To provide patients with quality, culturally competent care. I aim to create a space where individuals feel empowered to take an active role in their own growth and healing process. By utilizing evidence-based practices, I support each person’s unique path, respecting their autonomy and preserving their dignity. My passion for behavioral healthcare comes from a deeply held belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate, quality care. I am motivated by the opportunity to help individuals achieve greater well-being, addressing their needs with respect and understanding.”
