Women’s Fund of Omaha’s Adolescent Health Project Launches Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancies in Omaha

Picture1Picture3Picture2Picture5Awareness and prevention is the focus of the new “Think Your Teen Life Won’t Change” campaign, created to prevent teen pregnancy in Douglas County. Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. is among the local healthcare providers partnering with Women’s Fund of Omaha on this project.

The campaign was launched Tuesday, June 14, 2016 during a press conference held at The Living Room at the Master Craft Building, 1111 North 13th Street.  The press conference was attended by more than 75 community partners. Speakers included: Brenda Council, Adolescent Health Coordinator with Women’s Fund of Omaha, Dr. Adi Pour, Health Director with the Douglas County Health Department and Dr. Renaisa Anthony, MD, Women’s Health Physician with Charles Drew Health Center, Inc.

CDHC Chief Executive Officer Kenny D. McMorris, MPA, CHCEF was in attendance.
