Fathers for a Lifetime


This program is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Healthy Start Initiative.


Believing that children thrive best when their fathers are involved in their lives, Fathers for a Lifetime is committed to supporting men in getting connected and staying connected to their children by providing the following services through its FFL Resource Office:

  • Mentoring
  • One-on-one and family case management
  • Educational classes
  • Referrals for community-based health care and social services
  • Assistance with legal issues related to child support
  • Computer access
  • An FFL Resource Directory that lists community-based programs that work with men
  • Updated job listings
  • An updated listing of locations for GED classes and options for admissions to local colleges and universities
  • Assistance with identifying appropriate legal servicesInformation on available paternity testing sitesResources for health care services to include mental health and substance abuse counseling
