Your dental health is important. Our goal is to give you quality dental care and teach you how to keep your teeth healthy. The following will some answer questions you may have regarding our clinic. The more you know about our policies the better we can serve you.
Charles Drew dental clinic provides dental care for family members from six months and older.
Dental treatment, fillings and extractions
Emergency treatment for pain, swelling, broken teeth, etc.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you may not be seen.
When possible, bring only those children who have appointments.
Children may not be left in the reception area alone.
Smoking, eating or drinking is not permitted anywhere in the clinic.
To prevent the transmission of infectious diseases, only patients are allowed in the treatment area.
We ask parents of minor children to remain in the reception area during treatment. Appointment Cancellation If you cannot make it to your appointment, please call us immediately. A fee will be charged for appointments missed or cancelled without 24 hours notice.
Fees and Payments
Payment is expected the day of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made.
If you need to make several visits we can give you an estimate of the total cost and arrange a payment plan.
We accept checks, cash, Visa/MasterCard, private insurance and Medicaid.
Please remember that no insurance company covers all dental costs. It is your responsibility to pay the balance that is not paid by your insurance company.
With private insurance, please be prepared to pay your co-pay at each visit.
Services are available on the sliding fee scale, where you pay based on family size and income. If you would like to know if you qualify for discounts, please ask our receptionist for more information.
Our clinic only sees patients during office hours. After-Hours Emergencies: Call 536-6000 for the medical answering service. Regular Office
Call after 8:00 am and we will try to work you into the schedule.
If you need help understanding English, please call ahead to ask for an interpreter from our clinic.
